I'm so nervous right now, I was deferred a while ago from FIU as my math score on the SAT was a 360. I retook it and scored lower on the math. I'm horrible in that subject and my cumulative gpa is quite low(a 2.4) because i slacked off in my freshman and sophmore year my reading and writing scores are fine though it's just my math that i scored bad in. Do deferred students usually get rejected? I wouldn't mind getting into the summer term i honestly will appreciate anything they offer me. I've had 4 A's 1 B and a C for 2 9 weeks and just brought my C up(which is in math) to a B, will they consider my grades as of now? I never got my report card yet so i have no clue if my gpa went up to a 2.5 or not i also have done 6 AP classes and am in a top 10 high school in the country. What should i do? What are my chances after being deferred?

Perhaps you should simply start at community college.

Get good grades, and you will be able to transfer.

you may be right, i’m just really disappointed i wish i tried harder in my 9th & 10th grade year
