I was just wondering about this major

Computer science. How difficult is it? What should you be good in to do it? What are the job prospects for it? What are some good colleges that teach it? (preferably not outrageously expensive)

If you like and are good at math and computer programming, you should do well in computer science. If not, it may be a struggle.

Job and career prospects are currently good, although economic and industry cycles do affect the field. For example, job and career prospects were poor in the tech bubble crash of the early 2000s. Enrollment in computer science degree programs fell significantly at that time, which may have improved the job and career prospects of more recent computer science graduates.
