I was just wondering...

I remember that when I took the November test, my proctor marked using a highlighter the last question we answered for each section. (when I say marked I mean just put a line next to the question number on our answer sheet)

My first question is: Is this a common procedure, I don't remember seeing this with the SAT II Subject tests

Second question: Marking the question on the answer sheet in highlighter, would that affect my score? Would the scanning machine pick that up and think it would be an answer?

Never heard of it before, but I doubt it'd affect your score. Notice how a highlighter is not a pencil... But to get around it, you could just skip random questions so you get to all of them.

Oh yeah in case if anyone is wondering, it was a green highlighter.

Highlighters do not have carbon ions in them. Don't worry.

There's no such thing as a carbon ion.

Cyborgxxi meant Carbon atom. There is existence of carbon ion e.g. carbonium (+) and carbanion ion ( -).

That's so cool.
