I was just wondering

I didn't do so well first semester but now I've been working harder. I'm a freshman in high school and am really scared about getting into a good college, I plan on being a doctor.

My current gpa is a 3.150 unweighted and 3.250 weighted. This is really bad and doesn't fit my families standards, at all.

I am just wondering if I do really well in future years, can my gpa go up a good amount? How much(estimated)?

Thanks guys!

You can do the math: 4.0 times 3 years =12.0. Add 3.15 (freshman yr) +12.0= 15.15 Divide 15.15 by 4 years and you get a GPA of about 3.78

So, IF you can manage perfect grades all three years, you can hit 3.78 UW

Just remember you can do well at any college, ace the MEDCAT, and get to a good Med school. You don’t have to go to the top ten or twenty to be successful in life.

What state are you in? In Calif, the UCs don’t even look at freshmen grades.

With weighted grades in your later school years, you can improve this. Don’t take too many study halls, though.
