<p>I thought that I had a really good chance at UCI but I was waitlisted at SLO and rejected from UCSD and UCLA.</p>
<p>and i havent heard from UCI yet...HELP DO YOU THINK I WILL GET IN??</p>

<p>I do hope what i say won’t sound mean or anything. I got rejected from SLO and UCLA and got in UCSD with a much lower GPA and less EC, but higher SAT. I also come from a top 100 school(think this year its top 50) and I also still havent heard from UCI yet.</p>
<p>I can’t give u really any perspective of why u havent heard from UCI yet. The only thing i can say is ur stats are average to UCI and theres not really one thing on there thats copmletely above their average. You may still get in though. I agree that I hate waiting for UCI to make a decision <.<.</p>

<p>The good news is that you probably would have made it last year, since alot of my friends that had lower scores than yours made it into UCI.</p>
<p>The bad news is that times have changed, and we do not know how it affects admission… so just wait it out and I really hope you make it in.</p>
<p>It sucks how you got rejected by those schools but im sure ull eventually get into uc irvine. I also applied to the same schools as you and so far I got into Cal poly slo, uc irvine, ucsd but unfortunately got rejected from ucla. Im still waiting on UC Davis and Berkeley. i haven’t gotten anything from Irvine yet and it’s like my #1 school!!! and UCLA/ UCSD both rejected (I found out at about the same time too) SO SAD. But SLO accepted me though…

<p>Thanks @imabeast92. and ya it really does suck. overall i feel like i am a great student and that i should have gotten into ucsd or at least slo. im a psychology major so i dont know if that has anything to do with it.</p>
<p>im just disappointed because i feel like im being cheated just because of the year i graduated in. 
this whole thing is discouraging, college is suppose to be about rewarding students who have worked hard and now it just seems like a rat race to see who has the highest test scores.</p>
