I was waitlisted last year... could I try again?

I was waitlisted and then went to another school.

Now the other school isn’t what I hoped, and I am finding myself falling back to thinking about Brandeis again.

When I visited Brandeis some kids I talked to basically asked me to come asap and they seemed like they WANTED me there, and I don’t really feel wanted at my current school. And that makes me really think of the Brandeis atmosphere being a good one.

But I wonder, what are my chances of getting in again? I was waitlisted and didn’t accept my waitlist position because I decided on my other school when I heard I didn’t get in. Would I be able to get in again and transfer there, possibly? For a fall semester, not spring.

By definition, being waitlisted means that the Admissions Office deemed you qualified to attend Brandeis but didn’t have enough space to offer you a position. So yes, apply to transfer.
