Im just so ****ed and bitter because i waited 3 months for an answer. I was denied to arts and sciences, but i was waitlisted for biological and environmental sciences. Does this make any sense? I thought arts and sciences was easier to get into. These schools are both in new brunswick but i thought arts and sciences accepted the most people. Any answers would be nice. My stats weren't that great, but i thought i had a better chance in arts and sciences than environmental and biological sciences.

GPA: 3.35
SAT: 1140/1700

hey man sorry about that. ive been waiting for 4 months and i still have not heard back, however what i feared is happening. Instead of looking at apps they might just be waitlisting everyone.

you didnt make it with those grades??? thats messed up....

Many students have already been accepted, and the purpose of the waitlist to fill the class if yield rate is lower than predicted. Standards for admission at Rutgers are much higher, and they are rising every year. Important statistics in the evaluation of candidates are grades, scores and class rank.

The most selective are arts and science, pharmacy and engineering.

Really? Arts and Sciences is more competitive? Darn. I thought they took in the most people. Whatever hopefully Ill get into James Madison now (crosses fingers and knock on wood). If not Im stuck with William Paterson or Penn State Harrisburg. Man I should of tried harder in high school.
