I went to Africa on a medical mission!! What are my chances??

<p>Okay so I live in GA and I really want to go to either Rice or Emory but preferably Rice.
So here goes
SATs MA-650, CR-620, WR-600 (I will take for third time this Dec though)
I took the SAT II in Bio and Hist in Oct
Last year had AP classes in Gov, Hist(4) , and Bio(3)

My GPA is only a 3.6 and I'm ranked abt 50/500 (just about top 10%)

<p>I'd definitely say you have a great chance, especially with that international background. That sets you apart from those who just do clubs. If that experience really changed you though, and you're able to tell them that, then I think that Africa could be a strongpoint, though there are many international students and people who have gone international so it is a little competitive but it's still a plus.</p>
