I will be missing the SCEA deadline

Applying to Baylor’s MBA program. I know a lot of questions are in regards to undergrads, but I was hoping to get some feedback anyway. I originally planned to take the GRE and apply for SCEA, however, some plans changed and I have yet to take the GRE still. My undergrad overall GPA is 3.3 and major GPA is 3.9. Baylor is my first choice and I wanted to make that known by applying SCEA, but it looks like that won’t be happening.

How important is meeting the SCEA deadline? I will be applying for summer of 2015.

Thanks :)

Without question it is easier to get in SCEA than otherwise. That said, Baylor puts a HUGE emphasis on test scores. Do well on your GRE and you’ll have no problems at all.

Thanks for the response! Do you know anyone that got into the MBA program? I’m an average test-taker but it looks like I really need to study more. I’d be completely crushed if I didn’t get in!! Also, will being out-of-state hurt my chances?

I don’t know anyone. Sorry about that. My son just got his acceptance for class of 2019. I have a few friends that have graduated there, but none recently and not through the MBA program. Wish I could be more help.

Congrats to your son! I wonder if they weigh test scores/GPA etc… differently when it comes to the graduate programs. Guess I’ll just have to try my hardest and hope for the best. Thanks!
