I am currently a junior and I really want to go to Cornell. I am thinking about applying early to arts and sciences.
I have about a 92/100 GPA out of a difficult high school. I have a 2130 supersocre SAT score (800 math, 710 writing, 620 reading). I should be able to get my reading score up to a 650 or 660. Also I have a 33 superscore ACT (35 Math, 35 Science, 31 English, and 29 Reading). Cornell allows for superscore. I have been on my schools varsity swim team since I was a freshman. I have been on my schools baseball team since I was a freshman (2 JV 1 Varsity). Also, I was on my schools JV cross country team for freshman and sophomore years. I am involved in DECA (a business club) and I have received a regional award. Also, I am heavily involved in research at my school and have received several science awards. I will be doing research this summer at a university laboratory. Next year i will compete in the INTEL STS, Siemens Competition, ISEF, and JSHS.
I will have taken 8 APs by the completion of next year. They are AP World, AP Physics B, AP US history, AP Psychology, AP Biology, AP Law and Government, AP Calculus AB, and AP Statistics. I will also be an Eagle scout. I have taken 4 SAT II's Math I (760), Math II (780), Chemistry (700), and Biology (710).
Also what are my chances at UPENN, Wash. U in St. Louis, Northwestern, and Carnegie Melon
Please Chance. Thanks!

please chance me and post your links for me to chance you back

I don’t know. Besides your research, which I’m not sure how in depth it currently is, you don’t have any major ECs. I know somebody going to Cornell, and he was pretty much in the same position as you regarding testing scores. However, he was 16 going on 17 (no pun intended) and skipped a grade. He also participated in 3 research projects, got AIME and ARML, and also played a D1 sport.

I would say that your reading score trend is low and would look unfavorably on such a high-ranked school like Cornell… I would also agree with ^^ that your ECs could be better, although how good are you in swimming? you might be able to get recruited, which would help your chances enormously – chance back please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1152920-chance-me-i-will-chance-you.html
