I will chance you back!

Hi everyone; so, I’m a junior who’s recently made some changes to the list of schools I plan to apply to, and I would love to know any information that you can offer. I promise to chance back! ( :

LIST OF SCHOOLS:
Kenyon
Tulane
Davidson
Duke
Middlebury (first choice, will probably apply ED)
UVA (triple legacy)
Pomona

STATS:
GPA: 3.93
Schedule rigor: Good, increased each year
AP’s: World History (5), APUSH (either a 4 or a 5), plan to take AP Lit, AP French, and AP Physics next year
SAT: 750 (CR), 680 (W), 620 (M)-- plan to take this again and hopefully bump up my math score
SAT II: World History (690), plan to take Literature and French in a couple weeks
Extra Curriculars: School Newspaper: Staff Writer as freshman, Head Writer as sophomore, Co-Editor-in-Chief as junior (Only junior to ever be an EIC–the seniors on staff were not happy about that…), Editor-in-Chief as a senior; Literary Magazine contributor all four years, History club all four years, JV Cross-Country for two years, Varsity Cross-Country for two years, JV Track and Field for one year
Community service: Spent one summer tutoring underprivileged kids in reading comprehension, organized and headed a book drive for the same program that I tutored for, various other small activities
Work experience: Journalistic intern at a local magazine
Major awards: Hollins University Creative Writing Book Award, have placed/won in various Creative Writing contests
Teacher Recc’s: Will probably be very good; I am getting one from one of my Creative Writing teachers who also taught me English last year and has been my school-appointed “advisor” for the past two years, and the other one is from a science teacher who really likes me and how I challenged myself by taking her advanced Bio class even though it was pretty hard for me.
Counselor Recc: Will be good; She talks all the time about how impressed she is with me
Essay: Will also probably be decent-- if you haven’t noticed yet, I have a thing for Creative Writing, so that will help. I plan to write about something that happened while I was tutoring a specific girl in reading comprehension and will be careful not to make it too cliche. I have a good hook already.
Wherever I wind up going, I plan to double major in English and History.

I think that’s everything, so please let me know what you think! Thank you all so much.

Kenyon- match
Davidson- high match
Duke- reach
Middlebury ED- high match

Idk all of the colleges, but Duke is a low reach, Middlebury is a match, and UVA is a low match in state, high match oos. Chance back? (Click my username and you will see my posts)

Not to discourage you, because for the most part I agree with this assessments. However, I think Some may be overestimating the boost of applying ED. One big reason acceptance rates at places like Middlebury are higher for ED is that many applicants get “tips,” usually for sports. If you do not have a tip, I’m not sure you can expect much of a boost with your ED application.

Kenyon- match
Tulane- match
Davidson- match/high match
Duke- reach
Middlebury (first choice, will probably apply ED) high match/low reach (ED will help a little but not as much as we want)
UVA (triple legacy)- in state? If so match oos? High match/low reach
Pomona- reach

That is assuming yoy could get your math score up on the next SAT which I have faith that you can!
