You can see that most of my ECs are broken down to 9-10 or 11-12. this is because i lived in shanghai for 9-10 grades and went to an international school. one of the best international schools in the world. very rigorous academically. this was a huge transistion for me and wasn't a very successful one academically. my AP Lit. teacher thinks my essay is amazing. it explains my lack of confidence and how i ran away from my struggles by taking part in volunteer work and several ECs. my recs are going to be good. mom suffered psychologically problems in junior year of high school. i always challenged myself and never opted for easy classes. my GPA and SATs suck, but yea. most likely will major in business/econ. if you read this thanks. leave a link for me to chance you.

Colleges:
Arizona State (guranteed admission)

Arizona
Oregon State (in state)

North Carolina State (same as above)

Ok…you are going to need to write an incredible essay and explain the struggles you have had and hopefully that will offset your gpa/sat’s.

I think you have a decent shot at all but Purdue and the “University of’s”. IMO you are a perfect candidate for the “state” schools!
Good Luck to you! :)

I am only familiar with NC state because it is near. Just wondering, but what draws you to apply to NC state since you live in Oregon. I would say it is a reach. Your SAT score is about average for NC State if you are not applying to the engineering or design school. If you could explain your low gpa, like play up moving to a different country or something, you may have a chance. Your ECs are very strong so that should help you out. Good luck man but id say a low to medium reach
