<p>I don't really understand how the RSS feed works/what it does. Will someone please explain it non-technical terms?</p>
<p>i don't really understand it either. but apparently it'll gather data from a ton of websites/blogs and tell you when they're updated so you don't have to go around individually checking each one.</p>
<p>Hmm that seems neat, but wouldn't it tell you every single new post on this site? It seems like that would be very annoying to go thru all of them.</p>
<p>Do it by forum, so tell it to only retrieve the threads from the Cafe or whichever forums you normally browse.</p>
<p>And if you don't like a thread, maybe you could "kill" it and never have to see it on your feed again. So in the end you only end up looking at the posts from five or six threads.</p>
