I wonder what this thread's about...

OK.
I'm going to be a junior, but took my PSAT last year and got a 230 (78CR/74M/78W).

I took SATII Math and ran out of time, but got a 790.

My GPA...well, I haven't tried figuring it out, but I've taken seven classes through Freshman and Sophomore Year. 3 B+'s: in 1st and 2nd semester AP Calculus and 2nd semester Physics, but also took AP European History.

I think I did ok on my AP tests, but I'm not sure.

Next year, I'll be taking AP Chem, AP US History, AP Calculus BC, Honors English, Latin 3 and will have Public Speaking for 2 periods since I'll be prez.

I'm was in Latin 1 last year because I started late w/language, but I'm skipping Latin 2 (working over the summer).

I'm VERY involved in speech. Going to be one of the youngest presidents ever next year. Went to nationals this year, state this year and last year.

Play piano + violin (so overdone, I know) but I'm trying out for a REALLY prestigious orchestra and am hoping I get in. I'm already in a two good orchestras, but junior year's coming up...Piano is purely for my pleasure.

Do some writing/poetry on the side. I'm planning to enter a few essay contests.

There's more, but it'll have to wait, for now.
What do you think? What can I do/not do?

Well, I figure your GPA's at 3.857--but if you worked just a little harder in three classes it could have been 4.0--so I guess that's my major suggestion--get those B+s converted to As in the future. Your test scores are looking great.

Other than that, maybe do a bit of volunteer work and enjoy high school and the summer. You're only young once. Best of luck to you.
