World history failed with 2

ExtraCurriculars...
Hmm...well..this is a challenging part...the problem is...I dont have very many...
Volunteered at a library: Around 10 hours possibly 16
In CSF Club for my Second year. I helped tutor kids since 10th grade to now, not sure how many hours.
Joined Key club for just a little bit in my 10th grade, volunteered for about 3 activities.
Worked at Abercrombie for 2 months, still employed, but no hours =(
Went to a chinese summer camp in china for 1 month (I had to poop in a hole in the ground >.<)
Went to Chinese school for like 5 years
2 years in badminton (10/11) about to start 3rd year?

Schools Im looking at (In my opinion, from reach to easier to get into)
Please tell me my chances in as many as you have time for? ^^
Stanford - Most likely not...shouldnt even be on the list >.<
UCBerkley - I heard I still have a chance...may be a huge reach though
UCLA - Same as berkley, probably a huge reach
UCSD - Iv had varying comments on this one...up to you guys!
UCIrvine - I hope to use this as my fallback..opinions?

Others -- Not in any order.
Rice - Do I even have a chance? Be frank with me
USD - Do I have an okay chance?

Any other suggestions? I am hoping to go for biotech/chemistry/pharmaseutical
Currently, I am worried about my essay..I cant seem to find a suitable topic. Help anyone? <3

Wow...thats alot to type >.<
Well, hopefully this information helps. If I did the GPA calculation wrong and someone would be kind enough to fix it for me, I would be really happy! If you want any other information, please ask and I will try to help you help me as soon as I can!!
Thank you all for your time in reviewing my chances. I really appreciate it!
Thank you tahnk you thank you thank you!!

i’ll go out on a limb and say you’ll get all of them. but ucla and ucb could go anyway i think…

here’s me

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/599653-very-very-not-perfect.html</a></p>

Yeah you did the gpa calculation wrong. You only include A-G courses and PE is not included because it does not fit that criteria.

I say you’re probably a match for SD and slight reaches for Berkeley and LA (better chances at them than me at least, my gpa sux). If you had a 2000-2100 SAT, I’d say you’re chances would be great.

Your UC GPA is exactly 4.0

Based upon this and your SAT/SAT IIs and extracurriculars, your chances are as follows:

Stanford - Reach
UC Berkley - Slight Reach to Reach
UCLA - Slight Reach
UCSD - Match
UCIrvine - Match (almost a Safe Match)
Rice - Match to Slight Reach (a higher SAT critical reading score–like over 620 would get you in here, but with the current 570, you will probably get rejected. Plus, it is my understanding that this school is not need-blind, so while you are a very good candidate–and your ACT English score is great–I’m not sure that as a borderline candidate you can get in. If you do, this would probably be your first choice since the tuition costs for you would essentially be zero.)
USD - Match

I’m going to predict you will end up at UCSD–which is a great match for you–especially with your planned biotechnology major–(you are aware that UCSD is one of the great medical sciences schools in the country, right?)

Thank you for all your help (and extremely fast too! I expected at least when I wake up tomarrow!)
Any other suggestions/ideas/chances?
Thank you very much!

Consider an application to Cornell also. You are in their range–and they also provide full tuition to low income students.

Bump for more suggestions? ~~ <33

u have good chances in UCSD!!!u def get in

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/588180-chance-me-pepperdine-university.html?highlight=Pepperdine</a></p>

Hey, this is KINDA a bump, but due to calcruzer’s suggestion, I looked up Rice University, and I have gotten to REALLY REALLY like it…
Financially, It would be perfect, but I am afraid that I may not be academically eligible for a high chance of getting in…Does anybody know if the chances are anywhere around possible? I am taking the ACT again this december, suggestions please?
Any other input on my other schools would be greately appreciated too though =D

Thanks!!
