I did a 1-year exchange at a public high school in the United States, high school of 1800 people approx.</p>

<p>I'm Brazilian, as is the rest of my family. My grandparents are Europeans that came here to save themselves from the Holocaust.</p>

<p>You are a URM, which does help your chances.</p>

<p>Academics are good, but not great. Try to retake the SAT and get a score above 2300.</p>

<p>Your EC’s…I don’t see a common interest. They’re all so random.</p>

<p>European Jews are not URMs. Even if they were, international students don’t get a URM boost.</p>

<p>^I think Bb12 was referring to the OP being from Brazil. But you are right Intl. applicants are not considered URMs. Also, the CA does not include Brazilians as Hispanics, although NHRP and other organizations do.</p>

<p>You definitely have a good shot at Yale. Make sure to bring out the focus of your EC’s more in your application :)</p>
