I would really appreciate it: how do i hold up?

<p>Applying to either SFS or Georgetown College</p>

<p>White Male from Massachusetts</p>

<p>SAT I: 690 CR, 670 Math (taking SAT again in October, hoping to do better)
AP Test Scores: 4 AP Environmental Science, 4 AP World History
SAT II Scores: Literature 670, World History 590 (ill probably not send these, at least the history one. arent the AP test scores just as good?)</p>

<p>GPA: 3.65 UW- my school doesnt do weighted GPAS (i'll do everything in my power to get this up by app. time)
Class Rank: 23 out of about 280 students (top 10%)</p>

Class Vice President: Freshmen and Junior Year
State Student Council Advisory Board: Sophomore Year
Student Council President: Senior Year
National Honor Society President: Senior year (was in NHS soph and jr. years)
Soccer Player: 4 years, two years varsity
Track team: both winter and spring
Member of schools first debate team: Senior year (maybe captain)
School Mentor program: junior and senior year</p>

<p>Your GPA’s definitely low for Georgetown, but they may forgive that due to your relatively high class rank. Your SAT’s are a little lower than what they like, but if you could raise it by 30-40 points, you should be fine. If you can choose not to send your SAT II’s, that would be best, they definitely bring down your app a bit. You’ve got great leadership positions, which is a big advantage when applying to SFS.</p>

<p>Your ECs are good, but your scores are a bit low…Georgetown requires 3 SAT IIs, so you have to send it in. You face tough competition since you’re from Massachusettes, so I’d make sure I had other choices as well if I were you. But it never hurts to try, since you do have nice ECs (actually, the only hurt you get from trying is a loss of $70 or so. But that’s the application process. =] )</p>
