Today, I sent the email to the Boston University for updating my financial information.
However, after I wrote my information on the top, I wrote “Dear Northeastern University” … the important thing is I realized it after I already sent it… I immediately sent another email with right name.
Boston University is one of my dream school, and I feel worry about what if I lose chance to get that school.
Do you think it will hurt my chance…?
Unfortunately, you already know the answer…but at least you contacted them again right away. Nothing you can do about it now, so please don’t beat yourself up over it. Move forward with your head held high!
With all the applications and updates that students are turning in these days, I’m you’re not the only one to make this minor mistake. I wouldn’t sweat it.
As long as your “Why Boston University?” essay didn’t talk about the value of a Jesuit education. It’s happened.
Northeastern’s not Jesuit…I don’t get it.
But no, I think colleges realize at this point, students have to apply to multiple colleges and include multiple updates. They will focus more on what you can contribute to the college, not a mistake that I’m sure others make as well.
@preppedparent BU has seen applications that confuse them with Boston College. 8-|
Boston is a North Eastern University, so you should be good.
I wouldn’t worry about it!
