IB Bio HL or IB Chem HL?

<p>I'm gonna be a junior next year and need to decide which to take for junior and senior year.</p>

<p>I want to do pre-med in college, and I'm looking at UVA and a few Ivies.</p>

<p>Which is better to take?</p>

<p>Also, if I take one, should I take the other in the summer at a community college? (like if I take Bio and not Chem, should I take Chem at a local community college to compensate for not having both? I know lots of people take AP Bio and Chem but with IB you can only do one)</p>

<p>At my school, it’s not uncommon for kids with pre-med or pre-vet aspirations to take IB Chem and IB Bio. Unless your school has specific restrictions, you’re allowed to take both.</p>
