My school only offers AP Biology as double period and does not offer AP Chem. But does offer IB Chem, IB BiF

For what purpose? Few colleges will give credit for an SL exam and you’d potentially already receive credit if you score well enough on AP.
They don’t offer AP Chem at my school so I plan to take IB Chem SL in Junior Year and self-study then. I will be doing IB HL for both subjects senior year, but want to do more AP’s junior year.
IB Chem SL will cover AP and more.
SL bio in my kids school is enough for AP bio. Same for SL Chem. It might take you doing some extra study but for sure worthwhile if you can’t get an HL score.
