IB Courses?

Is there any way to take "IB" courses if your school doesnt offer them?
I know that for AP's, taking them online is an option....
but im not sure about IB's.

I don’t know of any online providers of IB courses and you aren’t allowed to take an IB test without being in the class.

No. IB courses have to be offered through your school in order to take the class (and register for the tests.) IB teachers need a certain credential to be able to teach.

No. IB is an entire curriculum, and for a school to offer it, the school must be certified by the IBO and teachers certified to teach the courses. I assume you’re wondering because you’ve seen the AP/IB debate floating around these forums–don’t become a prestige whore! Take the classes available to you at your school, because you are assessed by adcoms in the context of your environment. If there are some APs you are interested in and can self-study, go for it, but don’t overextend yourself.

hahaha,
thanks
