IB Diploma: 4 HLs vs 3 HLs...does it matter?

I've started the year with 4 HLs: English, History, Economics and Chinese

I'm struggling to get the equivalent of what an A- is, and I just got my first B for my last report card. If I switched down to SL Chinese, I'd definitely ace every test without even studying.

Do colleges (of the Columbia, Georgetown, UChicago, Berkeley calibre) care about 4 HLs vs 3 HLs at all?

Thanks.

I asked this question a few weeks ago and the overall response i got was that it doesn’t matter and won’t make or break or app. The only good thing it serves is to give you college credit, if you score a 6 or 7 on the HL exam.
