IB diploma admission at Harvard and top unies?

I heard that in the past couple of years the admission officers at ivy league and top universities have developed an increased interest and growing appreciation of the vigorous IB diploma program. But little is known about what subjects they prefer to see or what is the minimum IB score they expect (a friend mentioned a minimum of 42 out of 45 which is quite high).
Can anybody add any info or thoughts on this ?

It actually looks like there is less emphasis on IB than before since lot more schools got involved in it.

Aljubail, almost all the time, adcoms will not see your final IB score when you apply (or even after you are accepted)–unless you wait a year to apply or have some other unusual circumstance. You take your first set of IB tests after your junior year and the second set after your senior year. Scores don’t arrive until July, so they are not available until after your final grade report has been sent to the college where you have chosen to enroll. There is space on the common app to record IB exam scores from your junior year, though you can fill up a lot of those test lines with SAT2s and AP exams. Your junior year IB courses are usually your three standard level tests (typically, students take three standard level and three higher level, although some achievers take two and four respectively). Make sure you do well on your junior year IB tests (depending on the test, scores from 5-7 are very respectable) and you should be fine.

Thanks to all!
