IB Diploma or AP Classes??

<p>Well the “if you plan on getting a university degree out side the United States”- rule I can’t really agree with and I think that is a rule that exists in every country. In Norway we have the exact same saying, “if you want to study outside of Norway, do IB”. I don’t really agree on that part, since American universities do regard the IB as being a very rigorous program. When I attended summer school at MIT (this was an IB specific course) I was in fact contacted by several Ivys and some great east coast schools and encouraged to apply… so that could hardly mean that doing the IB if you want to study in the USA by any means in a disadvantage… </p>

<p>However, on the part about majoring in either math/science/engineering or humanities… you very well me onto something there…</p>
