<p>Has anyone done a club sport and DP in the same school year? I play club soccer two times a week plus a game on Sundays. I get home from school at like 4 and have to get ready for soccer practice at like 530 and then don't get home until 9. I haven't completely decided if I'm doing AP program or DP since next year will be the first year my school offers DP, but either way I will be taking 6 AP classes (or their DP equivalent) plus TOK if I do the DP route. Should I quit club soccer? I plan to continue participating in my high school soccer and track team however. </p>
<p>Word of advice: Don’t do IBDP if it’s the first year your school’s doing it, trust me. The teachers will be inexperienced and won’t know how to organise all the work efficiently. You may not even get your diploma because of your school lack of experience - could even ruin your chances at getting into the colleges of your wish. </p>
<p>If you really want to IBDP go to a school with experience and a good track record or else stay away and do AP. Of couse you don’t have to follow my advice but I thought I should warn you. (and no I haven’t experienced this myself) </p>
