IB Diploma vs. 8 APs +3 IB certificate

hey guys
I am at the situation about my schedule
originally, i signed up for IB Diploma, with following courses:
IB Chem HLHO
IB Physics HL
IB Math HL
IB English A1 SL
IB Econ SL
IB Chinese B SL

It seems quite straightforward, but for me it's not. Chinese class is really really hard.;;;
I tried to change into another languages, but they conflict with math and physics class.

therefore i devised a plan..
because my school have both APs and IBs, i would dropped out from diploma program and go for IB Certificate (Chem, Math, Physics) + AP Classes.
by the time when i become senior, i would have APs for (Calc BC, Chem, Physics C(2), US History, AP Econ (2) and AP Chinese),total of 8 scores.

do you guys think this plan will be better than taking hard IB Diploma w/chinese class?

or do i just go for Diploma?
is this better than certificates+ 8APs?

thanks for your help.

I found myself in a similar position, and decided to go the second route. I still have yet to see how it will pan out in college admissions, but I feel good about my decision. What it boiled down to was wanting the flexibility of the AP program combined with the intensity and critical thinking of the IB program.

I ended up with both.

Why not do full IB and take AP tests over the overlapping courses?

I agree with the above suggestion, if it's possible.
My school makes this easy/semi-required, though, so I don't know if it would actually be feasible for you.
