IB exams

Hi..!!
I'm an average junior who lives in Oregon State.
I was wondering if I can get some feedbacks or chit chat infos on IB exams.
Well, I am taking 5 IBs currently but i didn't register for the exams- that means, I'm not going to take any IB exams in may. (I am going to take
8 IBs in senior year and will be tested out of all 8 HL/SL subjects.)

Can it be covered by SAT II exams? I took U.S. History and Biology
last year and got 800 on both. I am planning to take World History,
Chemistry and 2c in May/June and Physics in October.

Oh My God,-!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know what to do.

Is "Not taking AP/IB exam" o.k.?
Can this be covered by rigorous GPA(well i messed 9th),
extracurric., SAT I and SAT IIs?

I will wait for your answers, thank you very much.....!

What do you mean by "tested out" of IB exams?

i mean I'm going to take all IB tests next year. Sorry if you are confused.

Colleges are used to the IB and on the counselor rec form will ask for your "predicted scores". This will be what they use in place of actual exam results. These willbe supplied by your teachers and will be based not just on mock exams but also all of the internal assessment components.

Are you a full Diploma candidate? That also helps.

Before you start freaking out, don't worry if your predicted scores aren't exactly the same as your actual come next July. The IB uses the predicted score in the rare case a students exam is lost and the college/uni you eventually go to will only use them for placement/credit IF you decide you want the credit. My DD didn't send hers to the school she is attending; she has since had mono and is using the credit so she is not short this semester since she had to drop a class.

On your apps there will be a place for you to put May '07 as the test date.

i strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly, strongly recommend you not to take 8 exams at once. That is just pure insane. That is a minimum if 16 papers, and if you are taking 4 HL courses, that makes it 20 papers. I think you should get over with some of the subjects early if you want to take that many courses.
