IB HL vs. AP Stat?

okay, so senior year i'm debating whether to take IB HL or AP Statistics, calculus was definitely hard for me and so i'm not sure HL would be the right route. my counselor told me that i do not need to take math next year to get the IB diploma, but colleges might not like that i'm not taking math senior year... is this true? is it worth sticking with only IB and taking HL even though i'm pretty sure it will kill me? what is AP stat like and how does it compare to HL? any advice you have would be greatly appreciated :)

I took AP Stat last year (my soph year) and now i'm taking the 2 year IB math HL course at my school. HL math is soo much work. It's really difficult for me because i haven't taken calc yet so i guess they try to work basic calc into the curriculum for us so it might be easier for you since you've already had calc. but even the kids in my class who have taken calc are having some problems, basically its a pretty tough class.
AP stat on the other hand is probably the easiest class i have ever taken. I know some kids in the class were having trouble understanding the concepts but for most of us it was really easy (i got a 5 on the exam btw)

So if youre looking for the easier class AP stat was probably 20 times easier than just my first year of HL math. However, HL math might not be that bad for you since you've taken calc and are probably a stronger math student than myself. i have also heard that HL math prepares you for high level college math extremely well so if you're looking to go into anything math related than i'd say take HL math just for the challenge.
