<p>How does your school teach IB Math HL or SL?</p>
<p>Ours is a weird way to teach HL..</p>
<p>HL 1 is Precalc, and for sophomores who did HL 1 they do SL 2, then HL 2.</p>
<p>HL 2 is Calc.</p>
<p>At our school, there’s honors precalculus or precalculus (honors is often considered HL year 1). Then you choose either AP calc AB/IB math SL or AP calc BC/IB math HL 2.</p>
<p>At my school, pre-calc is a pre-req taken Sophomore year. AP Calc AB/BC is HL 1, First semester of HL 2 is spent on the options, second semester is spent looking at old tests and reviewing.</p>

<p>We don’t even offer AP Calculus BC.
I had to take it online, and I know the content, just the tests are so damn small, and missing 1-2 questions f me up.</p>
<p>I think our HL 2 class barely squeezes out the options.</p>
