IB Math HL = AP Calc BC?

<p>Hi, Wharton's official website states that it requires the applicants to have taken a Calculus course. I'm currently taking Math HL, and I know that it emcompasses Calculus, but should I still take AP Calc BC in May? Will that look favorable at all?</p>

<p>I've emailed admission officer of Wharton but he/she never replied.</p>
