<p>I'm an incoming sophomore and I'm going to take IB Math SL. Yr.1 this year. Is Yr. 1 ONLY Pre-Calculus, or does it also cover any Calculus too?</p>
<p>Calculus is covered year 2. Year 1 covers functions, quadratic equations, logarithms, probability, binomial expansions, descriptive statistics, and sequences and series.</p>
<p>We did pre calc first semester and started calculus too- finished limits and most of derivatives
Year 2 for us is finishing derivatives (we only have optimization left), integrals, and stats</p>
