As a junior I am currently in IB Math Methods (SL), I struggled in trig but ended up doing okay (mid 90's) as a final grade. I want to know if anyone can tell me if it would look better to get an 85-90 in math methods, or a 95-100 math studies course. I struggle with math but I do my best. Also, I am far better in the language areas (English HL, Spanish, HOTA HL) and I do not plan to major in a field that is strictly math based. Senior year I will most likely take AP Stats or College Calc.
Additionally, in my school methods is weighted 10% and studies is weighted 6%

Is Math Methods Math SL? Anyways Math SL is anyday more respected than Math Studies.

I’d go for Math SL since you seem to have done OK. I think Math Studies is better for kids who just straight up suck at Math. Like this year, my friend was initially in Math SL, but like halfway through the year, she switched into Math Studies because she struggled so much.
