computer, music I can take outside school and still get credit for

How do you take IB music Theory outside of school?

Is IB Music Theory similar to the theory requirements for the RCM exams?

my friend took IB Music, and he said it's very vague. ***?? lol, if that helps you any. i didn't bother to ask more since i wasn't going to test in music. we don't get the option to test in computer science at my school, so i wouldn't know. but if you're a computer nerd, then go for the computer science i guess.

Not that much of a computer nerd...not that much of a "music" person either..lol. But those are the only two classes that will fit in my empty spot..

Maybe get an off...?

They don't offer IB classes at my school, but it kinda seems like everyone is taking some kind of computer class nowadays. I say if you want to be different than take music theory because it's somewhat a lost art.

Thanks for your inputs!

Bump...anyone else? Any advice would be GREAT!

I think that unless you will persue a career in music, the computer class might be more applicable in your day-to-day life (for example, one of my friend's dad created a small program to figure out a math/logic problem). I personally would take the computer course, but that's also because I already take music theory classes outside of school to fulfill my RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) piano requirements.
