^the person is asking what the typical “IB” score for IGBM admits, not the “official minimum” requirements. The official minimum for most majors look very similar and almost repetitive yet the admission difficulty among them varies from easy to extremely difficult.

Carmelowong,
A CC member who got a conditional offer said he needed to get 40 to keep the offer, if I remember correctly.

I think for HKUST it is a 33 with the 1/2/3 additional points, atleast thats what I have been asked for…
The scholarship however is conditional if offered according to the points indicated… I received full tuition if I have a 38 in the final IB

Hope this helps

does anyone know the requirement ofr gce A level…(uk)…
I would be really grateful if you could help

hkust global business usually 38/45
and ibgm usually 40/45

Yeah true but thats IB, Anand is asking about A levels…
I’m applying for Engineering and they asked me for a min of 33, but for the scholarship that I have received I need a 38 or higher…

yup i stress it again…I did A levels in England…
will be thankful if someone could help…

You really gotta say your story over and over again in this forum mate! haha
But worry not, there will be help from somewhere or another eventually!

you have to specify the field. like i said before, admission standard totally depends on the chosen field.

for locals, my guess is:

igbm >= medicine, acturial science & mathematical finance > global biz

law, general business, engineering

sciences

others

for internationals, igbm likes them (global) so medicine/actuarial science are probably the hardest for them.

Hey I am currently doing IB and my predicted is 41/45

I have applied for both HKUST and HKU early decision for engineering as my first choice, economics as my second and business management as third in HKU and engineering as my first choice and business management as my second in HKUST.
Apart from that I have work experience from Mahindra World City, and a few other certificates of voluntary work and community service. Also I am the head of Entrepreneur Club and I think my referee has given good recommendation about me. I am giving TOEFL in December, I don’t know how much I will score but lets see. I want to know what are my chances of getting in these universities.
