<p>I know this question has been asked time and again, but I was wondering what you guys consider more rigorous: IB or AP? The school I'm going to offers both IB and AP and I'm not sure which to take. I feel like teachers are pushing IB on me, but from what I've heard it's not worth it. Opinions?</p>
<p>IB is not offered at my school only AP. I do know that IB is more independent, covers things more in depth, you have to write a really long essay. Also IB is for students that really want to learn the subject. AP is also a good way to go, my teachers at my school are really good. If my school offered IB, I would take IB Biology.</p>
<p>I would take the IB Diploma Programme. It’s quite intense, but I feel you get a really well-rounded experience.</p>
<p>It seems like both programs are fantastic. I think the benefit with AP is that there is a wider range of courses. But you can’t go wrong with either. I think the best way to pick would be to see which individual program is better at your school.</p>
