IB or College Courses?

I'm currently a freshman at my local HS. I've been thinking about transferring back to my old middle/high school.

The HS I'm in right now has a thing where a few colleges get together and offer courses for the students to take. We have to take an accuplacer to be considered (I've passed each test but for 10th grade the only class available for me is Global 10 with the College Link). The school is new so it doesn't really have any rating or anything, it used to be a school called Roosevelt which wasn't really in anyone's high regard but now I think it has potential. Any college link class credits transfer over if you pass the class. Over the summer the school also offers a collegiate academy which offers a selection of college courses for $150 with transferable credits.

The other school is known as one of the best in my county (in the top 50's of IB schools in the US), unlike the one I currently attend the kids are more well-behaved (however, from what I hear my school is soon going to require an entrance exam so I guess it'll filter out the riff-raff). Anyway, this school offers an IB program along with AP classes. I was thinking of transferring mostly because of this (the school I want to go to, CUNY Hunter College, has a history of thinking IB students as ideal).

It's a bit unfair with the second school because everyone seems to pay special attention to it. I never really noticed until I was no longer there. The mayor of my city visited the school not too long ago for an unrequired and seemingly casual reason and donated a good sum of money to get the school a track, I guess this point is arguable because my school already has a track but there are parts of my school that REALLY need fixing. However, this school is overcrowded but I've gone here before in middle school and I know people who'd be happy to help me return to this school for high school.

I keep hearing how the school I'm in now can only improve but really it all just sounds like a work in progress with high expectations. I've been in a private counsel with my principal who believes strongly in the school's potential for next year. They've decided on changing the schedule at my school I currently attend to that more like what they have in college and introducing a few other small college elements (my school is called Early College High School)

Should I transfer or do I stay?

Are you even homeschooled
