IB or SAT for college?

I live in the states, but i’m considering going back to the UK to attend an IB programme school. (for junior year)
I’ve that the IB is harder and helps for college, is that true and are IB schools inn the UK good?

IB programs are good for college admission.
But the idea to go back to the UK to participate in an IB program does not justify the move. You will need to go through the hassle to send transcripts from all schools when you apply to US colleges. You will need to make new friends and know your new teachers to ask for recommendation later. Your new school may not be familiar with US college admission process to support you. Furthermore, you can participate in an IB program in the US too. You can also take AP classes in your school. AP classes are as valuable as IB classes (and could be better than IB classes) and are more flexible.
