I know we dont want to be reminded of this but scores come out tomorrow....hypothetically, what would happen if you dont get your diploma? Can penn find out?

Your application would be reviewed and Penn has the right to rescind your application. You must send your IB scores to Penn directly from the IBO. During the May exams your IB coordinator should have provided a sign-up sheet for all IB students to send their scores to their post secondary institutions. If that is not the case with your school, you need to contact IBO (or your coordinator, who would in turn tell you to contact IBO) and have the score report arranged.

I’m so scared for the Math HL results. SO scared.

What happens if we don’t have our personal ib number thing? How can we find out our scores? I kinda need to know for course registration… gah!

Yeah, also kinda worried about Math HL (along with Chem HL). Too much stuff our teacher didn’t really prepare us fully for, which is normally fine since its not that hard to figure out but time is short…

Contact your IB coordinator for your password. Your ID is your IB candidate number.

On that note, congratz to all IBers of 2009.

If we can’t get in touch with our coordinator? (I’ve tried)

Then wait until you can. Seriously, these (score report sign-up, IB candidate number and PIN, etc.) should have been done in a systematic manner during, say, the May exams. Are you certain you do not have them?

Fairly sure, I missed a tok class due to illness which may be why I don’t have them. Or could be I just misplaced them. I will check again as I left in a hurry after the ib exams to visit relatives abroad.

How do you send IB scores to Penn??

You were supposed to give your IB coordinator your Penn ID to have them directly send the marks.

Oh ok thanks

If I had failed the Diploma, I wouldn’t have sent my IB results to Penn unless they had explicitly asked me to.

Congrats to all IBers!

guys
do IB scores HAVE to be reported to colleges?
or can you choose to withhold them in favor of AP scores?

what if you just barely pass, like fours in all subjects, does penn care?

E-mail the College and ask directly please.
