Hey ppl, we just got our first term report...i am so dead with bad predicts >< Last year, I had a predict of 40-42 out of 45...now teachers changed their minds and got harsher....making me end up with 36-38...gar...(IB Diploma Student in Canada), do i still have a shot at ivies? Bec my parents are really reluctant to spend more than needed application fees >=(...

my IB predict was 36 when I applied ED columbia.. .. so.. you'll be fine

what about HYP?

no ibers? is the ib predicted more important than ur grades (like A, B etc)

No, it's not. Most IB'ers don't know their predicted scores, and most US colleges don't ask for them.

yeah.. our coordinator doesn't allow predicted grades to be shown to students... and quite frankly, it doesn't matter.,... IB's there for showing ur overloaded curriculum, how u do is pretty irrelevant (which is wonderful.. im not looking forward to that 2 in french)

i am just so scared.....the 19th we get our SAT II scores.. which i failed. gar.
