Anyone know if the IB workload is similar, more, or less, when compared to a good university?

Assume science in IB and engineering in university.

Even among good universities, this is going to vary a lot.

ive heard from ib students that college was a breeze compared to ib.

college dropout rate of former IB students is basically 0… after IB… things seem a whole lot easier. Also, people need to understand that IB is more rigorous than AP.

maybe not single courses, but definitely the whole program.

anyway, I heard something like of the top 80 colleges, none of the drop outs were from IB or dropped out of IB.

Waow!

I love you guys. I found the IB program a lot of work, but AWESOME fun and learning. I’m so happy reading this – seriously.

I guess this means I can do a double major without feeling that it will be the end of the world for me. Definitely more work than IB for a DOUBLE major, but I feel I’m up for it =)

It still depends on the school. The IB people I knew at MIT definitely felt that they had much more work in college.

All the IB kids at my school go to college and say it’s a piece of cake.
