Ib program beneficial for american colleges?

hi everyone, i'm in the IB diploma program, and I am an intenational student,in grade 11, and I get mediocre grades.

my marks range from 75-85%; which are level 4's and 5's.

I want to apply to NYU, but my marks are mediocre, and I know that they like GOOD GRADES.

I know that I will get high 90's if i drop out of the IB program, and into the regular program, but if I continue IB in Grade 12, I'm risking to get level 4's (which ranges from 70-79) and level 5's (80-90%) for uni applications!

Should I stay?

PLEASE HELP!!

You should stay and figure out what changes you need to make to go from 75-85 to a higher average level.

You may not be on track for a clear accept at NYU, so consider other colleges as well.

Doing IB isn’t going to make up for barely passing. Ideally, you should stay in IB and improve your performance. However, you may at this point be better off by not sticking with the IB program.

I agree with the above poster; you should probably set your sights a bit lower.
