IB Question

Is this schedule like super hard? I'm making my schedule for my junior year.

Diploma subjects:
IB English III SL
IB History Of The Americas HL
IB French ab inito
IB Physics HL
IB Chemistry HL
IB Math SL

Extra:
IB Biology HL

You should switch out Physics HL with Bio HL. I think colleges see that better. And as for your schedule, I think it’s manageable. My junior year schedule is as follows:

IB English 1 HL
IB Biology 1 HL
IB Math 3 HL
IB History of Americas HL
IB Economics SL
IB Chinese 1 SL

Straight A’s both semesters except for one B second semester. Shame.

As for the rigor of your schedule. I think it’s one of the harder course loads in the nation. Full IB schedule is a hell of a lot to manage. I would know…=.=" Not to mention, you can get a 5.0! =D

^^^
I thought the limit was 3 HL courses ?

Your schedule will look great on a college app !

The minimum is 3 HL, and maximum is 4 HL.

Your schedule is insanely hard :stuck_out_tongue: People who take physics, math and chem HL usually find it hard to cope. If you think you can manage it then fine, but I’d suggest remove one of those and add a reletively easier subject such as bio

That is a very rigorous schedule.

How would this junior year schedule look to Ivy League colleges?

IB Physics HL
IB Math SL
IB History of the Americas
IB English SL
IB Spanish SL

I can’t take any higher level HL classes. Should I take IB Chemistry or IB Biology also?

Elective Classes:
Science Research Program
Orchestra
