IB Scores! Post them here

The IB scores will be available today at 11AM ET at results.ibo.org

Post your scores here once you get them.

I got a 5 on the SL chemistry. I'm really happy because i'm not great at chemistry and our teacher had to leave because of illness and i ended up self teaching myself the options the night before. which may be why i didn't get a 6, but i don't care. i'm so happy right now because i just looked and i was thinking 4-ish. yay!!

The are already out! Got mine:
Chemistry HL: 6
Bio HL: 6
Econ HL: 7

Congrats, you all. Mine aren't up yet ...

Ugh...
English A1 HL: 6
Biology HL: 6
Hist. Americas HL: 6
Chemistry HL: 6
Psychology SL (last year): 6
Math Methods SL (last year): 7
German B SL: 5
Biology EE: B
TOK: C
Extra points: +1

Total: 37 :(

Actually I don't really feel my posting my stuff. (edited)

Environemental Systems 6

I am really disappointed, I was really hoping for a 7. It would have just relieved a lot of pressure for next year. Besides, a 6 in SL would look really bad on the college application.

Ah well, at least I didn't TOTALLY bomb it.

I ended up with 36 points overall...I got A's on the EE's...did those grades mean anything in the final score?

ITGS SL: 6 (no one has ever gotten a 7 at our school in this class, and our teacher has yet to find another teacher who did have a 7 in their class)

Physics SL: 7

Ehh...I just remembered to check my scores online a while ago...weird because I totally forgot about this matter since a long time ago. not quite satisfactory results:
Mandarin HL: 7
Comp Sci HL: 6 :)
5 on Chem HL, Physics SL, and Bio SL
Art History....I don't wanna mention it...:(

only took one test..

Comp Sci SL: 7

IB History of the Americas HL: 6
IB Math Methods SL (last year): 6

Not bad considering I'm an AP student for 4 out of 5 classes a day. :)

is a 7 on an IB exam far harder (less common) than a 5 on an AP exam?

I'm still a junior, so I could only take SL course tests this year.

Math Meth.: 7
Econ. SL: 7

Both of which are totally awesome b/c no one at my school ever got a 7 in math before, and I did econ on my own.

i don't know how it is for APs but I know at my school atleast there are many classes in which 7s are very rare. for example, in the 10 years my history teacher's taught, no one has gotten a 7 on the european history test.

7 on IB, IMO is harder than a 5 on AP (assuming syllabi are similar), but IB is easier to pass.

My scores:
English HL: 6
History of the Americas HL: 6
French SL: 5
Economics SL: 6
Mathematics HL: 7
Physics HL: 7
EE: A
ToK: B
Overall: 40 (37 +3 bonus points)

7 on Mathematics HL is almost possible, great job towerpumpkin

In my school, people do REALLY well in History and English (4-5 people get 7)

Okay in Enviro

HORRIBLE in HL Math (median score 2!!!) Latin (only two people actually passed) and Physics

(I can only talk about the courses I am enrolled in)

For HL it is A LOT harder to get a 7, than a 5 for AP. For SL it's about the same.

Well, my hope for 45 points diploma has been ruined, but now that I think about it, 6 is not a bad score at all.

P.S. with HL Math and Latin, it was kinda ridiculous to set goal for 45 points Diploma

My courses

HL English
HL Math
HL History
SL Latin
SL Physcis
SL Enviro

HIGHER LEVEL:

English A1 HL: 6 (I predicted a 5 but got a 6 :) )
History of the Americas HL: 5
Biology HL: 5 (thought I got a 6 partly because I had the highest Internal Assessment Lab score in my class, partly because I scored pretty high on all of the practice tests, partly because I worked really hard/did all of my homework and reading assignments, and partly because I memorized the IB Bio Syllabus but whatever)

STANDARD LEVEL:

French B SL: 6
Math Methods: 6
Music SL: 6 (last year....funny because I am NOT a musical person)

EE/TOK

ToK: D (hahahaha)
History: C (hahahaha)
hahahaha.....I didn't even try at all.....threw together my EE two days before it was due and never paid attention in ToK/wrote my ToK essay like two hours before it was due....I knew that the EE/ToK only could help you, not hurt you so I decided to study for my IB tests instead of care about the EE/ToK.

TOTAL: 34 and I am actually pretty happy

Apparently, my Spanish and English are better than my mathematics! yeah right, IB!! Thank god i stuck to studying for APs.

Math HL: 5
Comp Sci HL: 5
English A1 HL: 7

Spanish SL: 6
Physics SL: 6
Econ SL: 7

EE: B
TOK: B

Total: 36 + 2 = 38

Not bad at all, considering neither me nor a particular university down at Palo Alto gave a **** about IB grades (senioritis, not getting any credit for exams, ap's duplicating ib's)

English A1 HL: 5 (wanted 6 - but 5 takes care of all my req's for english)
Environmental SL: 6
Hist. of the Americas HL: 7
Spanish B HL: 5 (wasn't gonna take this as HL since I am a non-native, but I dropped IB Chem HL...)
Music SL (last year): 5
Math Studies SL (last year): 6

English Lit. EE: C
TOK: B
Extra points: +1

Total: 35

Highest score at my school has been a 39
