<p>so you’re taking IB Spanish A1 HL? That should get you a fair amount of credit in American universities. Since it’s rare for any Spanish A1 students, you’d probably need to talk to the department head to see what credits they’ll give you. As for length of college, I have no clue. Every school’s different. If you went to Brown, for example, you need to take 30 courses to graduate while a student (AP/IB credit doesn’t count) so you would spend nearly the same amount of time as a student with no credits towards their major.</p>
