IB Student Wondering if it makes a Difference in my getting into Brown?

Okay, so I am a sixteen year old junior in the IB Diploma Programme. This is my sixth year as an IB student, and next year, when i graduate, will be my seventh. My schedule looks like this:

IB Theory of Knowledge (Two Period Class)
IB European Literature
IB Psychology
IB Math Studies
IB Biochemistry
IB Spanish (Equivalent to Spanish 4)

I currently have four A’s, two B’s, and a C (Math !!!) and have a weighed GPA of 4.4 (Unweighed 3.9). I wonder, is this good enough for Brown, one of my top two dream schools?

Your schedule and your GPA on their own are not predictors. (You left out your history, by the way...) The overall transcript which would include your essays, your standardized tests, your ECs your rec letters, and your overall "candidacy" are the predictors. All schools look at the rigor of your program and its appropriateness for you as the candidate. Brown does, however, recognize the IB as a good, strong, rigorous course of study. Apply, when the time comes, and join the crowd!
