I want to know where the IB students are going and if they are getting a lot of credits or some sort of IB scholarship.

Hey, I am a full- IB survivor, and I am going to Bates college in the fall. I don't know how many credits I'll get for classes because I don't get my exam grades until July. It all depends on how well you score. Some schools are really generous with credit; you can look up college IB policies on www.ibo.org or the college's website.

i posted the list of colleges (with commentary) for my school's class of '05 in this thread. they're all full ib students. i can't tell you where i'm going until '07, though...

i go to an IB school. every year, the ap kids r the ones who go to the ivies. that doesn't necessarily mean the ib kids didn't get in, idk, but that's the end result.

I am an IB- student and I can't tell you where I am going untill '07, sorry about that.

I'm headed for Duke in the fall. Lots of IB credit, but no IB scholarship. Most of the IB'ers from my school are headed for UNC (~15) or NC State (~10). The handful of others are going to different places: Elon, Duke (2), Wake Forest, Hollins, Boston University, BYU (2), St. Olaf, and a few state schools. Most of those got scholarships.

I'm an IB diploma student, and will be attending Brown in the fall. I don't have my scores yet though, so I don't know how many credits I'll be getting.

I wanna take IB.

No, you really don't...IB is evil.

I'm also an IB diploma student, and I will be attending UPenn this fall. I don't know how many credits I'll be getting, I don't even know if I'm getting the diploma, I did not do well on my exams..

I took the full IB program.. I'm going to Wake Forest University this fall. I don't know my mark yet on the tests, so I don't know if I can get credit!

I will be attending UC Berkeley in the Fall.

I received all the merit scholarships offered through the university...

I was an IB student, now (hopefully) a graduate, and I will be attending Cornell University next fall. I don't, however, attribute my IB-ness to going to this school; rather, moreso taking advantage of what resources were available to me. As for schools of my fellow IB students, 17 are going to UF, 10 are going to UCF, 3 are going to UNF, 2 to Miami (obviously, I'm from Florida where theres a ridiculous amount of aid for staying in-state), 2 to Duke, 2 to Emory, 3 to Georgia Tech, 2 to Cornell, 1 to Michigan, Yale, Stanford, and NYU, and a few more random other colleges.

I'm starting full-IB next year. I can't wait to take ToK and IB Comparative Religions. :]

towepumpkin, when I was looking up IB scholarships I did notice that Florida universities offer the most.

i'm in IB. don't know where i'm going as i'm the class of 2006
