IB theory of knowledge

My school doesn't have an ib program, but I've done some research on it. One of the classes that I found interesting was the theory of knowledge class. If any of you are in that class, can you tell me a little bit about it, or pm me some links or resources?

could you be more specific on what you want?

Just a general overview of what you’re learning about or some packets or websites that would help me understand

im a junior in TOK this year. so far we have basically learned about different ways of knowing and the areas of knowledge. I have struggled in that class a lot becasue i am a concrete thinker and it is very open ended and helps me think out of the box which isnt something i always do so the class has been helpful in that way! we also look at a bunch of knowledge issues which i like. theyre basically just things that are controversial around the country or world! i hope that helped some

I’m a senior and I’ve completed the TOK course. Its purpose is to teach students how to handle types of knowledge. The most important concepts, I believe, are the emphasis on being critical to knowledge and respecting different ways of knowing (ie. religion, art, mathemetics, human sciences). I enjoyed the course a lot.

Buy “Theory of Knowledge” by Nicholas Alchin. It’s the textbook that my TOK teacher used- she only has 1 copy, so she would photocopy packets out of it. Even though it’s technically a textbook, it is absolutely fantastic, entertaining, and even mind-opening to read. Every single chapter in it will probably blow your mind.
