Okay, so I'm sure most of you have heard this argument before, but which one is better? I am a sophmore and next year I have to decide if I want to do IB or AP. If I do AP, I will probably take 12 to 13 AP classes by the end of high school. If I do IB, it will be around 5. (This is only approx.) So, which one is better? What would you personally do and why? So confused on this!!!

Can’t you do both in your school?

IB diploma is a 2 year program where you study 6 subjects (3 IB high level courses and 3 IB standard level) plus an extended essay and a course called theory of knowledge. It has been said that IB is more rigorous than AP and college admission officers realize this. Do a google search to find detailed articles which compare the two.
