the more i hear about haverford, the more i think its going to be my top school once i start applying. i'm worried now though, because i opted to take the IB diploma programs instead of taking a bunch of AP classes. does anyone know how IB courses are counted at haverford? (i'm a good student- the lowest i could get in any of them is a 5/7)

I don’t know how the IB is treated in particular, but Haverford’s general policy on transfer credit is this:

A student may get at most 4 credits (one semester’s worth of work) combined for all high school work, college work completed while in high school and summer courses taken at other institutions. No high school work may count towards divisional requirements. See here: [Special Academic Programs - 2011-12 Course Catalog : Haverford College](http://www.haverford.edu/catalog/special_academic_programs.php#APCredit)

However the IB gets treated, you are not missing out on terribly much. If you want to know the specifics about the IB, you could email the registrar and ask.
