<p>I want to do a BA in econ and im currently studying IB. I want to drop from math SL to math studies. UBC said that they dont require math since its an arts program but im unsure about other unis. HELP?!</p>

<p>and these are the rest of my subjects.</p>

<p>French, Theater, Math- SL
English, Biology, Business- HL</p>

<p>I take math sl studies, and just so you know it is almost the same thing as math sl. Math sl just goes a bit faster.</p>

<p>But you’ll be fine doing Studies.</p>

<p>Studies and SL are nothing alike. SL is essentially precalc and Calc AB (in fact, that’s exactly how they’re taught at my school). Studies is applied math that never gets near calc (probability, etc).</p>

<p>^ I’m in SL studies and we are doing calc, I have been doing it for about a month or two now.
